Surprisingly challenging!  Amazing core and strength work out, but fun at the same time.       I Love how you are always at the front of new trends for us.   Even after 2 years and taking 2 to 3 classes a week,  I have never had the same  work out twice.

  In July of 2007,  I searched the web for independent spin studios and by some miracle I came upon the Carpe Diem Fitness site.  The minute I spoke with Karen on the phone I felt welcomed.  My first class was very challenging to complete but I left invigorated and addicted.  I quickly came to see that this place was much more than a spin class.  The clients become like a family.  It is a great feeling to walk into a class and know your “friends” are going to be there as well and you are all going to take the challenge together.  I take 2 spin classes a week – Mondays with Mike and Tuesdays with Karen.  They are both great instructors, both very hard, but very diverse in their methods which I love.  Although it is two nights of spin back to back, they are quite different workouts.  Both Karen & Mike are very encouraging and motivate you to push yourself as far as you can.  They have helped me learned how to strengthen my heart and my body, and give us all a lesson in the human spirit and caring for the community and your fellow man.  The generosity they show to their clients and through their charitable involvement with Sick Kids and Princess Margaret, is inspiring.  I am a Carpe Diem lifer!!!!  Come join the SPIN family!

Joining Carpe Diem Fitness is one of the best things that
ever happened to me. I'm not one to stick to a routine training at all -
having had to cancel a number of gym memberships in my lifetime.
Not with Carpe Diem Fitness -one trial class and I was hooked! We're
like family in here. The camaraderie is amazing - and the trainer, the
best. Karen has and always been very supportive, encouraging and
accomodating. She makes it impossible to give up and quit because things get
busy with your schedule - very persistent with offering make-up classes,
so you find yourself making time for what's good for you. Like I said -
best thing that ever happened to me! Seize the Day !

I'm thrilled to have been working out at Carpe Diem Fitness  , Spinning, Pilates and POW classes for going on 5 yrs.  I've been taking Karen's POW classes since early Sept 2005.  I have to say between Cycle Fit and POW my body has made some serious transformations.  Not without alot of hard work and dedication to my health. 
The day to day stresses of work and family can become a hazard to your health if not kept in check.  I try to always make a point of making time for me,  to get my workouts in.  It keeps my mind clear and gives me that extra boost of energy for the day!!!
